Custom overview cards and list buttons are supported only in Novo. Custom overview cards appear on entity records. Custom list buttons appear on entity lists. The order of custom overview cards and list buttons matches the order specified in View Layout.

Configuring a Custom Overview Card or List Button

To configure a custom overview card or list button:

  1. On the Tools menu, select View Layout .
  2. Select the entity to which you want to add the custom overview card or list button.
  3. To add a custom overview card, select the Custom Cards tab.
  4. To add a custom list button, select the Custom List Buttons tab.
  5. Click the Add New button.
  6. In the Name field of the new entry, enter the name to display for the custom overview card or list button.
  7. In the URL field, enter the URL you want to request; include a “?” at the end of the URL.
  8. (Custom overview cards only) In the Partner Name field, select a partner name if desired.
  9. If you are configuring more than one custom card or list button, use the arrows to set the order in which the items will appear.
  10. Click Save.
